Rémy Drouard: Camping interdit, montée soudaine des eaux même par beau temps
Curated by Émilie d’Ornano
In partnership with Moly-Sabata
25 February - 16 April, 2022
Press release :In his paintings, sculptures, installations or written work, Rémy Drouard takes inspiration from his daily life. With a poetical and comical view, he captures moments that could not be more mundane. By creating an in situ work, he offers visitors a beautiful escape in a fictional river bank setting. This installation allows him to rearrange the relationship between the work and the spectator as well as its link with the exhibition space.
Born in 1991, Rémy Drouard lives and works in Nantes. He is a graduate of the Clermont Métropole School of Art (ESCAM). His work has been exhibited at the Espace Larith (Chambéry) at the Creux de l’Enfer (Thiers), at the Attrape-Couleurs (Lyon) and at the Frac Champagne-Ardenne Reims). In November 2021, he was a resident at Moly-Sabata in order to produce the pieces for his personal exhibition at KOMMET.
