EMBAJADA is pleased to present Museo del Reguetón, an exhibition that brings together a group of over 30 contemporary artists who reflect on the musical genre through multimedia works. The show celebrates the aesthetics, history, and impact of reggaeton through the diverse perspectives of local and international artists. While some works respond to contemporary experiences of the reggaeton scene, other collaborations present rereadings of its history. Museo del Reguetón features paintings, sculptures, textile, video, installation and a selection of Hasta ‘Bajo Project's historic reguetón archives, inviting the viewer to reassess the importance of the musical genre in contemporary culture.
