Embracing Flux: Deconstruction as a Form of Solidarity is a contemporary art exhibition that delves into the topics of growth and degrowth. It brings together a group of artists from Central Eastern Europe in conversation with the work of the late Polish artist Maria Pinińska-Bereś (1931-1999). In her practice, she explored femininity, domesticity, and identity themes through textiles and other materials, inviting viewers to reflect deeply on their form and content. Similarly, the artists in the show will expand on these notions to challenge the conventional processes, advocating for a balanced, sustainable approach to work and life in general.

The project is financially supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, State Fund of Culture of the Czech Republic, the City of Prague, Prague 9 and GESTOR. A partner of the project is Polish Institute Prague.
Media partners are ArtRevue, Radio Praha, Radio 1, Artmap, Proti šedi, GoOut, Místní kultura, Jlbjlt, Artalk, KdyKde.
