Within Frames is the first exhibition staged by the Hungarian National Gallery that presents a comprehensive picture of Hungarian art between 1958 and 1968. A significant part of the 350 or so exhibits – paintings, sculptures, prints and drawings, books, posters and works of applied art – are not included in permanent exhibitions and many of them had been concealed from the public for the five or six decades since they entered public collections. 

The Alicia Koplowitz Collection - Grupo Omega Capital; Col.lecció Per Amor a l'Art; Armando Martins Collection; Ella Fontanals Cisneros Collection; Luis Paulo Montenegro Collection; Collection of Latin American Art, The Museum of Fine Arts Houston, are the winners on this occasion.

Tanya Leighton Gallery presents the first solo exhibition in Berlin of Marianne Wex's pioneering project about male and female body language, Let's Take Back Our Space: 'Female' and 'Male' Body Language as a Result of Patriarchal Structures, 1977.

The weather is quiet, cool and soft shows works from different phases in the career of the Belgium artist Guy Mees (1935–2003) to shed light on his intuitive and conceptual approach. On view at Kunsthalle Wien from the end of January.
