Pietro Di Corrado: FAVOLACCE

On this occasion, the artist questions the possibilities of the visual story and the pictorial language of an image, be it filmic or literary, domestic or urban. Investigating the concept of "temporal short circuit" in painting and sculpture, Pietro Di Corrado stages a series of figurative artefacts without figurations. Filtered all by an apparent compositional joy that winks at the world of design and architecture, the artist wants to conceal human behaviors that arise from the experience with the object.
Completed by a wall painting that covers the entire space, the exhibition combines some recent paintings and the series of sculptures entitled Summers, inspired by the popular belief that it seems that the child-adolescent grows up more in the summer.
