YOUTH 2 is the second edition of Horizont Gallery’s summer exhibition series with emerging young talents.
Through the work of contemporary Slovak, Czech and Austrian artists who intentionally chose to leave their artistic comfort zones in favour of more fluid and unpredictable methods, the exhibition searches for new approaches on the border between reality and fiction.
Group exhibition curated by Ania Batko and Aleksander Celusta in Krakow.
The installation intervention at the Luhačovice Municipal Swimming Pool presents artworks related to the subjects of mythical creatures referred to in fairytales by a variety of names: mermaid, nymph, siren, rusalka, and to the water element in which they live, and which legend says they govern.
In the exhibition project of the versatile visual artist Petr Nikl, his creative approaches intertwine in a vast imaginative garden - a kind of ecosystem of moving and seemingly static organisms cultivated by the artist, but at the same time partially self-grown, much to his delight.
